Jacqui leads the graphic design department for her family’s architectural firm, working alongside her twin, Jake McAdams. Known as Jae by her friends and family, she runs out of options to find a plus-one for her best friend’s upcoming wedding. A chance encounter with her brother’s best friend, Travis Prescott, gives Jacqui the idea Travis may just be the right man for the job.

Travis Prescott leads a routine life consisting of work as the managing legal director for his firm and training for triathlons. Recent events with Jacqui give Travis an indication the structure he has come to know and love will be upended. Surprised when his best friend’s sister asks him to be her plus one, he struggles with whether he should enter into a fake relationship and will knowing Jacqui is off limits keep Travis from stepping over the line.
